Meeting Brides, Making Moves .
ACS Bridal Expo with Slay Events.
Hello again, floral friends!
This second blog entry is a little recap for you about an incredible experience and first for French Girl Florals. Partnered up with our amazing industry friend, Lily Tran from Slay Events, we hosted a booth at the ACS Bridal Expo (Nov. 3rd)! For those who don’t know Lily, she is the hardest working, most organized, “its your Big Day but I care about it as if it was my own” planner. We love working together in the wedding world and we want to do more of that in 2025 and beyond! So when she invited me to join her in a collaboration my answer was ‘Duh!’
The best part of the expo was meeting so many wonderful brides who we genuinely connected with!
Every conversation reminded us how each couple brings their own vision and personality to their wedding plans. Some brides dream of traditional ceremonies with classic touches, while others have visions of modern, intimate gatherings. Each bride + crew we met inspired us with their excitement.
During the event, we also noticed some exciting trends - and we’re not just talking about October being the most popular wedding month (by a mile)!! Lots of brides were resonating with the “Castlecore” aesthetic that is sweeping across social media. Bridal fashion, too, is leaning into ‘days of old’, with lots of brides showing us drop-waist dress photos. For florals, we’re seeing lots of swooning over interesting vessels that make as much of a gorgeous statement as the flowers themselves- YAY.
We endorse this emerging crush 100%.
Reflecting on our experience at the expo, it’s clear how much this generation of brides values personalization and authenticity. Whether couples want to weave in family traditions or create a brand-new experience, the goal is always the same: to celebrate their love story in a way that feels true to them. These conversations made us even more excited for 2025 weddings and all the beautiful, heartfelt ceremonies we’ll be honored to help create!!!
For brides beginning to plan their Big Day, expos like this one are a fantastic way to gather ideas, connect with vendors and find inspiration.
If there’s one piece of advice we’d offer, it’s to honor your authentic voice and vision for your wedding, then find a team of vendors who will help you make that happen.
Be open to new ideas, ask questions and above all, let your wedding reflect what makes YOU and YOUR PARTNER unique.
To everyone who stopped by our booth, “Thank You” for making this event such a memorable experience. We are truly grateful to have shared in your excitement and are so looking forward to bringing your wedding dreams to life. If you weren’t able to attend the expo, feel free to reach out—we’d love to connect, share some of the inspiration from the event and start planning your unforgettable day!
